Picodeon Presentation at FinNano in Helsinki on May 4-5

Picodeon Ltd Oy, the innovative thin film and functional technology company, is making a presentation under the section “Innovation, Entrepreneurship and International Growth” at the FinNano Final Seminar “Small and Huge” in Helsinki on May 4-5,2010. The seminar is organized by Tekes, Finnish Funding Agency for Technology and Innovation (www.tekes.fi).
“Most of our R&D efforts have been supported by the Tekes FinNano program, so it is very natural for us to present our views on such an occasion”, says Mr Jukka Häyrynen, CEO of Picodeon Ltd Oy. He continues: “My focus in the presentation was to demonstrate how our thin-film coating can be used for industrial applications with very specific demands on adhesion and morphology. I did also want to describe how we have elaborated our business model to take this technology to relevant markets all over the world.”
Picodeon’s Coldab® deposition technology is uniquely capable of manufacturing nano-structured thin films on an industrial scale. These layers can be deposited both on conventional substrates such as metals, ceramics, semiconductors as well as on heat-sensitive materials such as polymers. Coldab® combines new functionality with propertieslike superior adhesion and excellent morphology control.
