Picodeon Ltd Oy strengthens its management team

Experienced executives joint Picodeon to accelerate growth

Picodeon Ltd Oy, a leading developer and provider of ultra-thin film and nanocoating technologies based on the usage of ultra-short laser pulses, appoints a new CEO and a new VP of Sales.

Mr. Juhani Paakkonen starts today as the new CEO of Picodeon. As a successful serial entrepreneur, he has a strong background in managing growth companies in international markets for over 20 years. Prior to joining Picodeon, Mr. Paakkonen worked 6 years as a partner of Blue White Venture, Inc, helping Nordic startup companies to enter the US market.

Dr. Gio Fornell starts today as the new VP of Sales and Marketing of Picodeon. After completing a successful exit through selling his company Epigress AB, Dr. Fornell worked several years as a highly-esteemed consultant in the semiconductor business before joining Picodeon. Dr. Fornell brings to Picodeon also his extensive sales and sales management experience from Asian and European markets.
